Multilingual Display Support for Global Deployment
The display language is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), and Arabic. It enables each team member to operate the radio in their preferred language.
Indoor Positioning with Bluetooth® LE (Low Energy) Beacon Reception
Receive BLE beacon signals for indoor location tracking in areas without GNSS coverage, such as underground facilities and multi-level buildings. Real-time positioning enhances operational coordination and emergency response.*
Indoor Mapping App is planned for a future release. The PC control commands may be disclosed upon request, subject to approval.

The IC-F3600D series features larger buttons and knobs with enhanced tactile feedback for confident use, even when wearing gloves. The top panel includes a continuous rotary channel selector, separate volume control, and programmable lever switch for quick function access. The angled knob design helps prevent accidental operation, while the top-mounted speaker delivers clearer audio.

Up to 45% Faster Charging with USB Type-C™
The IC-F3600D series features fast charging performance equivalent to USB PD (Power Delivery)*, enabling more efficient charging than conventional USB charging.
Commercially available 30 W or higher USB PD charger and cable are required.
Optional High-Capacity Li-ion Battery Pack (4810 mAh typ.) for Extended Operating Time
The optional BP-316 high-capacity Lithium-Ion battery delivers extended operating time compared to the standard battery pack.
AES/DES Encryption (Optional License Key) for Secure Communications
For enhanced digital communication security, the IC-F3600D series provides built-in DES and optional AES encryption —no additional hardware required.

Voice Recording (microSD Card Required) for Call Documentation and Review
The voice recording function captures incoming and outgoing calls for later review and verification, storing up to 500 hours with a 32 GB microSD card. Embedded data includes user IDs, GNSS/Beacon, frequency, AF volume, RSSI, and more (depending on settings).
Hands-Free Operation with Bluetooth® Headset
Built-in Bluetooth® capability provides wireless headset connection. Cable-free operation enables unrestricted movement, improving work efficiency. The IC-F3600D series works with 3M™ Peltor™ WS™ 5 series Bluetooth® headsets (PTT operation checked by Icom).

Ingress Protection (IP) ratings define the level of protection provided by enclosures to prevent the ingress of foreign objects (dust) and liquid into the electrical equipment.
International Standard IEC 60529 outlines an international classification system that describes the sealing characteristics of electrical equipment.
The classification system uses the “IP” code, or “Ingress Protection” code, to define the level of seal.
An IP number contains two numbers (i.e. IP67) in most instances which relate to the level of protection provided by an enclosure or housing.
Either number may be shown as “X” (i.e. IPX6 / IP7X) to indicate the “X” part is not tested.
