Icom Incorporated Supports ‘‘JOTA-JOTI 2025 in Icom Narayama Research Institute.”

Icom Inc. was proud to support the communication experiences of Scouts using amateur radio and the internet at ‘JOTA-JOTI 2025 in Icom Narayama Research Institute” that was held on October 18 and 19, 2025.  

This event was organized by the Program Committee Scout Association of Japan, a public interest incorporated foundation, in conjunction with the World Organization of the Scout Movements (WOSM) Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI).

This event aims to enable Scouts and leaders to communicate with their fellows around the world via amateur radio and the internet, focusing on mutual understanding, knowledge and friendship.

We supported event operations by providing equipment such as an antenna installed on one of Japan's tallest towers (51 meters high) and transceivers, as well as arranging accommodation. Operations were also conducted at 1 kW using the IC-7760 and IC-PW2 at the commemorative station “8N3JOTA”.

Icom Incorporated will continue to support Scouting activities through amateur radio.
