Supporting with a marine radio equipment for the challenge of a Solo, Non-stop, Unassisted, Sailing Around the World

Icom supports Mr. Hirotsugu Kimura who is 23 years old Japanese youngest person to challenge a Solo, Non-stop, Unassisted, Sailing Around the World, with state-of-the-art marine equipment.

Icom sympathized with this challenge and provided the international VHF transceiver, the IC-M510J which has functions for safe navigation, such as communication functions with other ships.

Mr. Hirotsugu Kimura is 23-year-old and was born on August 26, 1999, in Oita, Japan. He is an employee of HAMADA Co., Ltd.
