Icom Incorporated is excited to announce our cooperation as an official partner with the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (2025 Japan International Exposition), which will open on April 13, 2025. The IP502H IP transceiver will be used for staff communication to support the safe and smooth operation of the pavilion during the Expo period.

The IP502H is a transceiver that operates on an LTE mobile phone network. Unlike conventional transceivers, the IP502H can be used within a mobile phone network coverage area, regardless of distance.

The IP502H features interrupted calls for timely information sharing and can also be linked to a smartphone application. Staff can use either a transceiver or a smartphone depending on their environment.

In the pavilion, where a large number of national and international visitors are expected, the transceiver's preeminent strength of "instant communication of information to many people at once" in other words, its "broadcastability" and "immediacy" will support the coordination and smooth operation of the pavilion. And it will also help to ensure the safety of visitors and improve services at the pavilion.
