Digital Radios for Vehicles
IL NOTTURNO equipped all emergency response and security patrol vehicles with Icom digital radios. Each personel carries a handheld radio as personal equipment. Each field officer has two radios, and each team carries a dedicated radio. It is the first security company in Campania to implement full redundant radio coverage across its entire vehicle fleet.
Ensures Security Workers' Safety
When a security worker encounters danger during operations, they can trigger an emergency Man-Down signal from their handheld radio. This distress signal automatically alerts the dispatch center with an alarm and GPS location data — enabling immediate identification and rapid deployment of a security team. This feature fulfills mandatory Italian government requirements for worker protection.
Simulcast Coverage
The IC-FR5300 Simulcast system unifies all communications onto a single licensed frequency across 16 sites throughout Campania. Field operatives no longer need to switch channels as they move across coverage zones — communication remains uninterrupted and consistently stable throughout the entire operational area.
New Central Command Center
Inside their control stations, the IC-F5400D and "COM" solution, a dispatcher software by Advantec srl, are installed to serve as a dedicated digital radio command center, which allows channel switch, transmission, and receiving with an intuitive touch screen operation. The relay radio repeaters in the command center are connected to a VPN network and transmit the clearest digital radio signals back to the command center over the network.
